HyProCell Paper at IECON 2019

Posted on 20 October, 2019 0

HyProCell presented a paper at IECON 2019, the 45th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).

The paper is entitled Implementation and Testing of a Modular System Architecture for Generic Hybrid Production Cells in an Industrial Environment and was authored by HyProCell’s SmartFactory and IK4 LORTEK teams comprising Parsha Pahlevannejad, Arnold Herget  and Ramon Moreno; as well as André Hennecke, and Martin Ruskowski from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence – DFKI.

The paper describes and enhances architectural approaches to fit industrial requirements by proposing generic principles that support the automation engineering, cell control and basic data-acquisition. It treats modular requirements, the practical implementation and the testing of a service-oriented and modular architecture in a highly heterogeneous industrial environment in conjunction with MES- and CAx-tool chains.
