HyProCell participated in the networking event organised by the Additive Manufacturing SIG of the UK Knowledge Transfer Network on 6 March 2019. The SIG encourages innovation, enhances awareness and fosters knowledge transfer in additive manufacturing and 3D printing primarily for the benefit of UK business to enhance economic growth.
Hosted by the University of Portsmouth, the event featured presentations and industry pitches about the benefits of additive manufacturing and lessons from recent deployments. The delegates heard about the range of technologies, applications and case studies. A Factory/Site tour was featured in the day’s programme when HyProCell’s representative Dr Costis Kompis took the opportunity to talk with various researchers and business development advisors employed at the facilities about emerging business models for Additive Manufacturing.
