HyProCell was successfully featured at Formnext 2018, the premier international conference that showcased current and future cutting-edge applications of additive technologies to over 26,000 visitors.
Across both the Lortek and PolyShape exhibition booths and under the banner Proving Automated Hybrid Production Workflows, technical experts working in the project made themselves available to explain HyProCell’s vision and recent achievements.
Not only they shared experiences and lessons learned on how hybrid technologies are making a real impact in the manufacturing world, but also showcased some of the first parts produced by the HyProCell pilots, such as a nozzle ring for one of ABB turbines.
Exhibition visitors were particularly keen to find out about the background technologies, the initial business cases, and discuss how integrated multiprocess production cell could potential fulfill their own practical requirements. These span demanding industrial domains such as aerospace, energy, automotive, and medical.
