The Second HyProCell Technical Committee Meeting took place on the 29th and 30th of November 2017 and was hosted by Erowa AG in Büron, Switzerland.
The HyProCell partners reviewed the recent developments across the project’s work streams with major emphasis on the design and implementation of the pilot facilities. This is a complex undertaking due to the variety of the machines and processes involved as well as the distributed nature of the pilots. The SLM pilot features Adira equipment located at Poly-Shape in Paris (France) and at RAMEM in Madrid (Spain). The LMD pilot with Hamuel equipment is located at the Autodesk premises in Birmingham (England). The Technical Committee focused predominately on configuration, data connection and optimization issues. The programme also covered market trends and business modelling issues.
The meeting participants had the opportunity to visit Erowa’s state of the art development and production facilities and observe how the host company’s workholding, robotic and measuring systems can eliminate inefficiencies in work-flows.
