PROJECT INFORMATION

HyProCell is about combining already available laser-based additive manufacturing (LBAM) machines with ICT modules resulting in integrated multiprocess production cells.

HyProCell is demonstrated in the context of two pilot applications and three business cases. Each pilot application includes the combination of at least one additive and one subtractive manufacturing machine. The pilots are organised according to the additive technology: Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) and Selective Laser Melting (SLM).

The target industrial sectors are Power Generation, Aerospace and General Manufacturing.

The Project Innovation Activities are addressed through 8 Work Packages (WPs) to be executed over a 3 year period (1 Nov 2016 to 30 Oct 2019).
